What do you think when you see these pictures?

Have you seen the second picture's receptacle? What kind of receptacle do you use in your home? When I went to kindergarten, I used both in Korea; however, now most Koreans don't use the first photo's receptacle, for it is 110 volts' receptacle. If you go to a rural zone in Korea, you'll find a 110 volts' receptacles. Recently, 220 volts have been the main power voltage in Korea, for 220 volts' transfer efficiency is better than 110 volts' transfer efficiency. Now I use 110 volts' receptacle since I live in the United state. I think 110 volts is better than 220 volts because 220 volts is more dangerous than 110 volts.

FIFA World Cup start to play in South Africa on June 11.

Do you like soccer? What about the FIFA World Cup? Actually, I don't like to play soccer; furthermore, I don't like to watch soccer. However, I like to watch the World Cup because the FIFA World Cup has international soccer matches. The FIFA World Cup also has preliminary rounds that need a lot of competition. I don't know a lot about soccer, but I know some famous players that are Lionel Andres Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro. I want South Africa to hold the FIFA World Cup successfully. I also want South Korea's team to win.

Do you know general outpost?

What do you think about these pictures? My feeling is sorrowful because these are GOPs in South Korea. GOPs are general outposts in military language. Actually, Korea is divided; therefore, they need a boundary. The GOPs aren't a real boundary, but they are 2 or 3 miles below the real boundary. North Korea also has these kinds of lines, for GOPs protect their territory. If you go to a GOP, you'll feel a lot of things. I hope to remove these kinds of lines; it looks like the Berlin Wall.

Do you like to watch the MLB?

Do you have a favorite baseball player? Recently, I don't watch MLB, for I don't have enough time. However, when I went to middle school, I liked to watch MLB because I liked Chan Ho Park; I wanted to see him. He started to play baseball for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1996. He was the first MLB player in Korea. He is a very famous pitcher in Korea. If he didn't play basball in the major leagues, most Koreans wouldn't know MLB. Currently, he is pitcher for the New York Yankees. I want him to get the World Series Champion's ring.

Korea has a lot of recreational rooms called Song Room.

Do you like to sing? I don't like to sing songs, for I'm not a good singer. Karaoke is done in 'song room' in Korea. When I went to elementary school and middle school, I went to song rooms with my friends for their birthday parties. It's a very popular activity in Korea. If I had liked to sing songs when I was teenager, I would have gone to song rooms many times. Nowadays I go to song rooms with my friends and to drink alcohol after. In song room's price is $8 to $25 for a hour. It depends on room's size and in which city the room is. Some adult song rooms sell alcohol that are expensive.

Korea has a holiday called Parents' Day.

Do you love your parents? Maybe most people love them; I also love my parents. The USA has Mother's Day and Father's Day. Mother's Day is on the second Sunday in May. Father's Day is in June on the third Sunday. Korea doesn't have Mother's Day and Father's Day; however, Korea has Parents' Day. Parents' Day is on May 8th in Korea. Parents' Day's history is so interesting. Originally, Mother's Day began in 1956, and then Mother's Day changed Parents' Day in 1973. This picture is a carnation. A lot of carnations were sold in May in Korea since children pin carnations on their parents' clothes.
